Random thought: American Royalty

Should the electoral college be the equivalency of the royal family in England? Say the popular vote elects the president. But the electoral college would be chosen by both election and appointment. Then America would have Several different layers to it’s government. You’d have the President, Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Electoral College. Again, the electoral college could be given a tie breaker vote for extreme instances. They would basically do nothing but appeal to the masses who want authoritarian rule. Literally their only job would be pomp and circumstance and tie breaker votes. If humans in America want more than that they should move somewhere with Authoritarian rule in my opinion. Here’s the caveat. The people will have the power to choose who becomes a member of America’s Aritocracy/Electoral College. I mean make the Aristocracy the most diverse group of Royalty you can think of. There are 538 electors or members of our current electoral college. Imagine 538 dictators who have to decide on One tie breaker vote as their only job. Literally their only other job would be to be royal figures who appeal to those who want authoritarian rule in a democratic country. In a nutshell, it could be the voice of the 1%. Again if you don’t like your country…move. That’s what refugees and IMMIGRANTS do.
